Summer & Fall 2019

The Eric Byrd Trio will be playing high profile concerts this summer and are currently in negotiations to return to South America this fall after Eric Byrd plays a few gospel concerts in Scotland.

“It’s great to see our hard work paying off,” Byrd said recently.  “In terms of concerts we’re playing the Frederick MD Jazz Festival, The Havre De Grace Jazz & Blues Festival, The Barns at Rose Hill who have become our new best friends.  We return to An Die Musik the day after my birthday and it all leads to the big one, the Super Bowl that is the Washington, DC Jazz Festival with our concert happening on the last day of the festival at the prestigious Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center where we were Jazz Ambassadors.  It doesn’t get much better than that.”

The EBT have worked on a brand new set of repertoire this Spring and will be pulling from that set list for the forceable future.  Of course they still have material from SAINTS STILL MARCHING that thrill audiences as well.

The band is currently negotiating with a promoter to do a week of concerts in Bolivia, South America and Byrd has been asked to play on a gospel concert in Scotland.  For more news and notes please continue to check this listing, join the mailing list and/or check their social media pages.
